If you’re looking for a high-quality stave core for your products with short lead times, you’ve come to the right place.
Western Core Company has been the leader in stave core manufacturing since 1973, crafting lumber core sourced right in the United States for architectural doors, stile and rail doors, tabletops, and custom furniture.
Formerly in Susanville, California, we are now in production in Payette, Idaho. We are dedicated to our customers throughout the USA and Canada.
When it comes to quality, Western Core is the way to go. While many door manufacturers make their core out of waste, downfall, and low-quality lumber, we use high-quality pine and fir lumber specifically for stave core.
Higher-quality lumber and craftsmanship results in a stable product with fewer knots and uniform thickness that’s easier to machine for hardware, louvers, or lites.
In addition to high-quality lumber, we also take pride in our stave core construction process. Our lumber is kiln-dried to optimum moisture content to meet building specifications.
We also use a quality waterproof Polyvinyl acetate (PVA) glue that qualifies for the LEED rating system for green and sustainability-focused building projects.
All of our products are cut-to-size and ready to assemble to help save on labor costs.
